I really don’t understand the low ratings for this Laptop. I easily switched it from Windows s to Windows home and it works fine. If you want to use photo shop or any other high end programs then this is not for you. It’s a basic Laptop and is great for Internet, Youtube or any MS progs like Word Excel etc as well as email. I think a lot of reviews on here expect a 200 quid laptop to be the same as a laptop costing 4 times the amount I paid for this. Its a basic laptop that will serve most people well. The only problem I had was I live in a block of flats on the second floor and the delivery guy just left it outside the entryphone door….poor service from Amazon. If you just need a basic computer then go for this product.

I have ranked this 5 stars for all in context with the price. For the £199 price tag I paid I really can’t fault it. It was bought as a quick purchase when my daughters laptop webcam stopped working. It’s light. Responsive for standard everyday tasks like office. Comes with windows and a full year of office 365 it is £59 alone for that.Note. This does come with windows s mode. For those that don’t know. It is a restricted version of Windows that only allows you to install apps from the windows store. So for example you can’t install zoom and it also forces you to use windows browsers so no Chrome. However. It is very simple to turn off and turn into standard Windows home edition. Just a few clicks. I did this with no issues at all.

Purchased for my son birthday. He loves it but can not do anything apart from school work and watch video. He wanted to try downloading videos and editing but this is not built for that. I had to purchase a external drive as there was not enough space on this machine. Still a good little buy

If this had white or grey keys it would be the answer to all my dreams as my eyesight is bad and I can’t use a light near to me. However this is a beautiful little laptop, lightweight, with all the features you’d require. Nothing fancy, just an everyday user’s laptop at a reasonable price. Please make one with lighter coloured keys and I’ll buy it. I can touch type, but the keys which aren’t alphabet letters I have to look for and it’s hard with bad eyesight.

Ideal BASIC Laptop for Browsing the Net, emails, Home Banking and the like, YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, iPlayer etc, copes with all of that with no problem, only had it 3 days with continuous daily use and put it through it’s paces without any trouble.Don’t expect a machine with blistering speed, you need to spend a lot more money if that’s what you want, what you do get is a light portable machine with WiFi, Bluetooth, 3XUSB’s, Memory card Reader, HDMI Port, Headphone/Microphone jack point and a RJ-45 Port for wired internet, Battery life seems fine and screen quality acceptable.As with most budget Laptop it comes without Optical Drive, but I purchased one from Amazon for just £15 to load my copies of Word, Publisher and a couple more programmes, only got 64GB memory but I have a stand alone 1TB drive for extra storage if needed.This was purchased to replace a 15 year old, very slow Dell Laptop the gave up the will, and died on me, this Laptop is a good all round replacement machine for general basic home use, at a very attractive price.

I purchased this laptop for my son who started college in September. He didn’t need anything overly powerful as he already has a gaming desktop and I have a high spec gaming laptop he can also borrow. So, this purchase was for college work, research, internet, YouTube etc.I was a little dubious about type of storage though as this laptop doesn’t contain a modern standard SSD or SSD M2 drive. Instead this laptop uses an eMMC (embedded, MultiMedia Card). Whilst definitely inferior to the various types of SSD (M2 being my personal favourite) the eMMC does ensure that the laptop falls into the budget category and therefore usually less than £200. Also, the eMMC isn’t huge in size, but with USB drives and external SSD drives, and because I synced the laptop to the household network storage, I soon realised that 64gb of storage would be ok, and so it has proved.The laptop only has 4gb of RAM, but Windows 10 is not an overly greedy OS and again considering the laptop use, 4gb is adequate.Another benefit of having an eMMC is that is uses less power than an SSD, which ensures the longevity of the battery. My son says he gets about 5 hours use from the laptop, which isn’t bad for a budget laptop.The webcam, wifi, bluetooth etc, all work fine. A years subscription to Office 365 is included, but I already had a spare serial for a 5 year version.Whilst this is a low powered laptop, I think it ticks all the boxes for its intended purpose and absolutely ideal for internet browsing, media and creating all kinds of documentation, I would certainly recommend it. I might upgrade the memory to 8gb and install a SSD drive, but for the moment, my son is happy with it so I will leave well alone.

Used principally as a home computer with limited business use. Trouble initially with connecting to printer initially since settings difficult to find. When directed to print double sided front to back flipping on long edge it persisted in printing the reverse page upside down which took a while to sort. Also when operating on battery only the brightness of the screen could be better. All in all it is excellent value for money coming in at just under £200 including Windows10 , Office 365 and many software programmes.
